Very chaotic app - so many barcodes from the major UK publishers show up as "unknown author", or with different cover pictures. So many English edition books have descriptions in different languages (I once saw Greek!?!?). Definitely not a good app to use in a book shop to check if you have any book of a particular series in your library - you never know which one will show up after scanning the barcode. Nightmare...

No way to leave a group on app. I tried doing on the browser, but the website takes me to the app too. Home and Discover tabs of the app are wasted spaces that could have been used in a hundred other ways. It keeps showing same things all the time: "your friend liked this book" "Goodreads picks for 226" etc. Algorithm could make a curated list for users. Goodreads is a great idea but not a good implementation. I have been using it for years and will keep using but it has big room for improvement

Not great at all. The app is too basic and would really benefit from the add friend features that are available on the desktop site. It's so frustrating trying to add people on the app as you have to switch to the desktop site. I don't want to add people from my contacts on my phone so which is all the app offers. Make the app more like the desktop site!! Trust me that's what we want!! We use phones more than we do computers these days!!!
