This was a super exciting experience at first, with the introductory lessons I thought: "okay surely they will ask for some money soon, it's too good to be free". And I even thought I WOULD pay for this. But then I saw that you don't even get to sing a single song without a subscription, which is crazy. If I'm going be dropping 11€+ then I want to know exactly what kind of experience I'm paying for. Unfortunately, the free/trial part is just not convincing enough.

Terrible app. Do not get a subscription! Do not even try out the free tutorial! First off, you can only access about 10 minutes' worth of material before hitting a paywall. Second, the range select is terrible. I set it to the lowest bass it would let me, and most of the songs were still too high for me (songs with small range, mind you). Third, it doesn't always accurately reflect whether you hit the notes or not. On some songs, I missed all the high notes, but the app acted as if I'd hit them.

Not possible to try out without an expensive subscription. The concept is fun, I totally admit that. I think I'm better off paying an actual instructor (admittedly more) money, and get actual lessons (again), getting actual feedback from a human. And stick to doing karaoke of songs in my vocal range, or get one of my mates to strum some guitar chords and transpose stuff....
